GlobalVin SCAM

Some guy contacted me right away after placing the car ad on Autotrader.
He tried to get me to go to GlobalVins.com to buy the report from my car when I've already provided a CarFax which is the standard in North America.
Very elaborate. He made me believe he was genuinely interested and even booked a time to come see the car. Be aware.

Globalvin.com is a scam

Fraudster named Alex texted me for a Kijiji.ca ad. Gave his email: [email protected]. Asked for a vehicle report from globalvin.com... I actually bought it ;) for a fun of it ~30$ via PayPal (so no credit cards involved) and turned out it's came from [email protected] with a pdf that has Bumper Inc. checks and logo. Pretty useless info though. See it attached - what a scam... ))

Exactly the same experience as above!. Contacted by craigslist email, pretending to be interested in a vehicle I was selling. Requested a history report from globalvin.com then stopped communicating after receiving the report. The report is complete junk; contains only information that other services show for free. Nothing useful in the report!

Scammer contacted by craigslist email. Pretended to be interested in vehicle. Requested a history report from globalvin.com then stopped communicating after receiving the report. The website will actually print out a report though some of the information appears to be slightly incorrect.
