I tried to purchase a Cane Corso puppy from giantcanecorsos.com for $1,380.00 which included shipping. Initially everything was going well with the seller until it got to the shipping part. He contacted me via telephone and we made all the arrangements. He supposedly was taking the dog to the Denver international airport to be shipped through a company called Fast Book Airlines. I was contacted by this agency and they immediately requested that I pay an additional $1500 to cover the use of a special crate because of the weather conditions and the money was refundable upon arrival of my puppy. I did so and didnt think anything of it. Then they called me back and wanted us to use another crate which was $5100 and I could pay with Visa gift cards. Now I began to get suspicious so I told them to return the puppy to the breeder and I would make other arrangements. I made other arrangements to have a courier pick up the puppy and I couldnt get ahold of the breeder or this Fast Book Airlines to get the puppy so I had to call off the courier. I waited until the next morning and called Fast Book Airlines to try to get this issue resolved and they agreed on a lessor amount of money for a crate. I paid again and everything was suppose to be ready to go only for them to come back to me and say they needed another $3500 for pet insurance which I could pay in Visa gift cards or the puppy could not get on the plane. At this point I had enough and told them there was no way I am paying anymore money and they can keep the puppy. The phone number for Fast Book Airlines is (512)981-7956 The phone number for the breeder is (720)263-5986. It appears that this is a scam between the breeder and this Fast Book Airlines. Any reputable breeder would have got the puppy out of there at the buyers wishes and helped them retrieve their puppy at the sign of a scam unless they were involved.
