Gerry has Commitment Issues
Gerry Brabeck never completes the work. He never even started our roof and ordered the wrong metal and measured it all on the short side. We’ve never been reimbursed for anything after giving him $6000 up front! Don’t be charmed or smooshed by this guy. He took advantage.

He doesn’t keep his word, pads hours worked and hours paid out, & doesn’t show up when promised.
I got stuck at his house for 8 days after returning from my vacation because it wasn’t finished as promised.
It was barely started.
He let my cat under the house even though I had stressed to him countless times to not leave the floor open. (He was ONLY gone 45 minutes ??)
Because he let the cat under the house, he decided he couldn’t texture or mud or paint or a single other task in that room until I got back.
He didn’t texture the hall or laundry, so it doesn’t match the rest of the house.
He’s a fraud, he owes my friend $15,000 in work for money he borrowed, never did it and stopped answering their calls.
Update: after months of Gerry telling us that Home Depot doesn’t know when the cabinets will come in, I was told that he never even ordered the cabinets and countertops, he just pocketed $6000.
He lied in telling me that they were coming and if that’s not bad enough, he tore out my entire kitchen knowing full well that there were no cabinets coming.
He left my microwave out in the weather and ruined it, as well.
He decided to tear open my ceiling fan, lost the screws and left it like that. (I told him if he took it down, to leave it down because I wanted to open it up and look at it.)
He claimed he had a plumber coming to install my bath. Nope, not a licensed plumber, plumbing all wrong, it cost $1500 to get it right by a licensed plumber.
He covered the heat vent in the kitchen, as well as the plumbing for the fridge.
He unhooked my stove and left it that way.
He lost my house key and just shrugged, that he left it on my porch because strangers were coming in without him to work.
I met several people by chance, end of summer, who also had similar problems with this guy. He’s lazy and likes to live beyond his means.
Remember that name, Gerry Brabeck.
