There was no message in the email other than "Thank's you. so( Much)dear!" which already looks suspicious. There was an attachment that looks like a bill and had $499.99 USD listed on it and it said "We appreciate your continued support of Norton LifeLock. Norton LLC has a stellar reputation in the industry. As a gesture of goodwill, we are not charging our clients for their auto-renewal this year. Kindly contact +1 (888) 813-1064 if you did not authorize this transaction. Note: The transaction will appear on your b ank statement within 24-48 hours." Yes, it had the space in the word "bank". It listed 2 separate charges, one for 399.99 and one for 100.00 to total 499.99. At the bottom it stated "Unless you disable auto-renewal, your membership will automatically renew every year. A maximum of 24 hours before the subscription period ends, you will be charged. Thank you for your business. Kindly retain this copy for your records. A soft mail bill will be under surveillance."

I called the number to see what this was about and a guy answered the phone saying thank you for calling customer care/customer service how can I help you. His Indian accent was very thick and it was very hard to understand him. He kept interrupting me and when I was trying to ask questions about what all this was about, and I think he realized he wasn't going to be able to pull off scamming me, and he hung up. I tried calling back to see if someone else would answer, like if it was a call center maybe, but it would ring and then it was answered and dropped in an instant. I called back from a different phone, and the same guy answered that I spoke with the first time! so instead of going through all of that again, I asked to speak to a supervisor, and he waited maybe 2 seconds and hung up again.

I'm not sure what exactly this is, but DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THEM!
