I was invited to invest with Genesis AI Capital, which operates through the website and trading platform:

The company claims to be managed by MICA Consulting GmbH, which I verified is listed on the Swiss commercial register, but does not appear to be regulated or authorized by FINMA to provide financial services or manage investments.
⚠️ Why I Believe This Is a Fraudulent Operation:
The platform displays highly unrealistic trading performance, including frequent conversion of loss-making trades into apparent profits under the claim they are "resold on Asian markets."
I was contacted by an "account manager" named Maya Maria Katzman via the encrypted messaging app Signal. Her profile photo does not match the identity of the real person on LinkedIn, and she refused to verify herself via a video call, citing “company policy.”
I was instructed to:
Transfer funds via Revolut
Purchase cryptocurrency (ETH) using Coinbase
Send ETH through Coinbase Wallet (non-custodial) to an address provided by the platform
After a small successful withdrawal of $250 (likely to build trust), I was encouraged to invest more (£1000), after which I was informed I must pay a “35% tax compatibility charge” to unlock my funds — a red flag tactic commonly associated with investment scams.
