This company calls several times a day to get a free saliva test and heart test covered by medicare as long as you qualify by giving your doctors name. Then he will call and set it up/ TOTAL SCAM! When you say take me off your list they scream at you and say you are nasty.

I have blocked them but they just use different phone numbers and it is always your area code so that you think it is someone you know.

BEWARE- They are not accredited with the BBB.

Called saying Medicare Card renewal needs info. They want to say my doctor should approve medical equipment is needed and they will provide.

Charging Government through Medicare.

I refused. They even put on line a person stating he is my Doctors assistant and he will approve my need.

Free they actually intend to charge Medicare.

Phone call on Oct 22, 2021. “ Hi Margaret my name is John and I’m calling from Genetic Advocates in regards to your cardiac genetic testing so we tried reaching out to your doctor’s clinic and they said that they will not be signing the requisition form for your test as you are not interested so I’m just calling to verify this and if you would still like to continue and here’s our callback number just in case 833-584-0814 thank you and have a wonderful day. “

I previously warned my doctor’s office of a potential scam after I received a phone call telling me that my Medicare card had been compromised and in order to get a new card I needed to follow their directions. The caller was very insistent that I follow directions and repeat what he wanted me to say to the person he was transferring me to, in order for me to get this accomplished. I finally hung up on him because he was being so persistent about my repeating things that I knew were not true. I notified my doctor’s office because the call came in as if it was coming from him. Somehow the caller was was able to use a known originating phone number I would likely answer without hesitation. So when “John” contacted my PCP yesterday to get his signature on a form, doctor’s Asst refused and called me at home immediately. The script above was left on my voice mail today 10/22/21 at 6:31 am MT in Arizona USA

Contacted me by phone, and posed as connected to my supplementary Medicare Insurance provider United Health Care. Said they sent me information in the mail but I didn't respond so they wanted to verify the address. The man told me the address and I told him one number in the zip code was incorrect. In total, I spoke to three different people. Each one said it seemed I would qualify for certain genetic testing that would determine if I would be susceptible to heart problems as a result of my Covid inoculation. I don't know how they had certain private health information. The third person to whom I spoke, a woman, also asked for the name of my primary care physician or cardiologist and contact address so information could be sent to the doctor for him to sign off on the test. Then I was to be sent the "test" which I could do at home, if I chose. But they couldn't tell me anything about the test. In reviewing the conversation in my mind, I think they basically were "fishing' for information for solicitation purposes. No money was requested. When I asked who was paying for the test, she said she thought Medicare or other insurance. It was all kind of vague. What made me listen was the initial mention of my insurance company. I really should have suspected something when the first and second person to whom I spoke had thick Spanish accents and I had a difficult time understanding them; however, in the Miami area, the lack of understandable spoken English occurs frequently so it didn't seem that unusual.
