I had scheduled to have Frontier send a technician to my home to set up internet service. That appointment was changed to January. On 01/07/25 I received an email out of the blue that my Frontier account would be charged $59.99 for my Frontier internet service. I never had a technician come to my home to set up internet services within Frontier but on the company end it shows that I have an active account where an auto-pay was set up. When I called they confirmed I have an active account but were not able to show that I am connected to their system, that a technical came to my home to provide service or any type of agreement signed by me to opt for a specific product or enrol in autopay. I am now waiting for Frontier to cancel a non-existent service and have to wait for a letter to be sent to me and then have to hope that any fees or charges will be waived. I am very concerned that if something like this can happen to me by such large company then it can and will happen to other people. I am wondering if it is some way to get people to become customers in a very under hand way as their initial solutions was to get a tecnicain to come out to "finish the install".
