I was attempting to purchase large rifle primers. The purchase was made using Venmo sent to Paris Knight (Venmo account @ChefPk). When the item did not arrive I contacted the company at 970-281-5803. I was instructed via phone conversation and text message that a shipping label was created from Royalswiftmails.com (Tracking number WPC049882796583-CARGO ) and that I was to send a "refundable" $100 for hazmat deposit. I was encouraged to used Zelle or Venmo. I informed the individual that I had already paid for shipping, I did not have an extra $100, and that I would like a refund. It was at that point that the individual ended the telephone call. I still have all the text messages between us. Also, the website claims that the business address is 231 Midland Ave, Basalt, CO 81621. The address is actually the address for a legitimate online business named Basalt Firearms. I called them and the individual at Basalt Firearms informed me that SPRINGFIELD FIREARMS SUPPLY was a scam. He also indicated that it was the second time today (12/30/2022) that he was contacted by someone who had fallen prey the scam.

I placed an order for ammunition and paid using my debit card as requested. I then received an email stating, "Please get back to us with a different payment method for your order for we've received your order, but we are currently unable to receive credit card payments. We apologize for any inconvenience caused, but we equally accept; Zelle cashapp apple pay Google pay chime bank transfer, and bitcoin Select from the above your preferred payment method for our details along side shipping costs to be send to you for payment and onward processing. Best regards"

I then asked how to change my payment within the website to which I received the following message. "You've requested zelle as your payment method for your order. Your expected to pay $200 shipping inclusive

This did not make sense to me, so once again I asked how to change my payment information within the website; I received a different response. "You've requested zelle as your payment method for your order. Your expected to pay $200 shipping inclusive

Please provide us with your receipt/screenshot/confirmation of your payment once payment is made for referencing and onward processing.

Please check into this business as they do not seem to be a legitimate company. With the request for money to be sent to two different Zeller accounts for amounts exceeding my order amount, I feel there is something wrong going on.
