This is my honest review of Footbridge Media’s so-called Complete Marketing Program. I paid $249/month for three months and received nothing that qualifies as real marketing.
Here is exactly what happened:
• I had to set up and manage my own Google Business Profile, even though Footbridge Media advertises this as part of their SEO services. They never touched it.
• No posts, no photos, no updates, no optimization.
• No SEO reports, no citation updates (Yelp, Yellow Pages, Nextdoor, etc.), and no measurable results.
• When I asked questions, I got vague answers and was told to “book a call.” That is not SEO, that is stalling.
• They would not even use Yext to update my phone number across online citations — one of the most basic and critical elements for local Google ranking.
• Worse yet, they placed my website in a spammy backlink chain that actually hurt my SEO visibility instead of improving it.
When I pushed for a refund, Footbridge Media’s own attorney wrote in email that he had “no issue authorizing” a $498 refund (two of the three months billed with no deliverables). However, once he became aware of my reviews, the company stopped communicating and stonewalled me completely. That is not accountability, that is retaliation.
For context, I had been on a hosting-only plan and switched back into their marketing program. They billed me for 90 days and delivered nothing. While I am not technically a new customer, I still paid for 90 days of service that were not performed. Footbridge Media advertises a “90-day money back guarantee” for new clients, but in practice it is meaningless. This should be a warning for anyone considering their services — the guarantee is not to be trusted.
And I am not the only one. If you read other Footbridge Media reviews and complaints, you’ll see the same pattern: copy/paste websites, no exclusivity in markets, stalled work, and other business owners also calling the program a cash grab. This is systemic, not an isolated issue.
Footbridge also runs an internal “contractor directory” (AskAProToday) where they list multiple clients in the same trade and even the same city — sometimes 10 or more direct competitors. They sell the same “exclusive marketing” to everyone at once. That is not marketing, it is a bait-and-switch directory scheme.
The truth is, Footbridge Media’s Complete Marketing Program is nothing more than a cookie-cutter website that ends up costing about $3,000 in twelve $249 payments. From my experience, the monthly fee came with no real SEO work, no optimization, and no marketing results. It was just passive access to tools — nothing that helps a small business actually grow.
I have filed a BBB complaint against Footbridge Media and also reported them to the Florida Attorney General. I will be taking this further to small claims court with documents and emails to back up every word of this review.
If you are searching for Footbridge Media reviews, scam warnings, refunds, or complaints, take this as your caution. Do not waste your money. Their “Complete Marketing Program” is anything but complete.
