Called said my husband had one 2 million dollars. Asked if I had gotten other calls. I said yes but thought they were scams. She said yes mam they were but we are are not. Left a number for my husband to call and said they would give him the number to call and this was on the up and up. That we had one 2 nd prize. And all we had to pay was 1%..we could finance it also. Dang why is this. Crap allowed to go on? Looked this number up she called from on here and several attempts from this number have called other people with the same prize winnings. Sure glad I looked on this site

I have been contacted twice by a supposed Consumer Protection Bureau Agent, Lisa Gellar at 202-864-0211 and now April Sanders at 202-836-9753. Both informed me that I won $750,000 for First American Sweeps TK. After talking to them I was given a case number and directed to call First American Sweeps at 775-964-5353 and spoke with John. He gave me a claim number and said for me to go to their website and check it out. He then said I needed to call the consumer protection number back to get the name of a bonded trustee and send him/her a check for 1% for some government registration. The $7500 would be refunded in 24 hours by certified check along with the delivery of the certified check for $750,000, a 1099 form of taxes paid.
I then contacted the Consumer Financial Protection Agency and asked about this group and was told it was a scam cuz nobody should ask anyone to pay to receive a prize they won. Its all BS.

A lady named April Sanders called from 202-836-9753. Sounded like an old American Lady. Relaxed with many phone numbers and names of american banks. Did not apply any pressure to make it sound true. Why out Federal agencies can not find these people and remove them to where they belong?

Telephone call from "Agent April Summers" regarding a complaint. Sanders stated she represents the "consumer protection bureau" in Washington, DC. Phone # 202-836-9753, Told me I won second prize of $750,000 tax-free (because I am over 65 years old) from the American Lottery Sweepstakes. She gave me a claim # and told me to call San Francisco Credit Union, which holds my funds. I called the number she gave (877-964-5353) and talked to Jim Forbes, who explained I needed to pay $7,500 (one percent security required by the federal government) and that the money would be returned with my cashier's check. I called the San Fran Credit Union Number listed on their website - it was a different recording when I called. This is fraud.

My wife received a call from Christy Martin who advised that she was a Compliance Officer with the Consumer Protection Bureau. Tel Number 202-836-9786. She advised that my wife won a 2nd place award of $750,000 and to call the San Francisco Credit Union, Tel. Number 1-877-329-7936 and give them Federal Claim No. CPB2213. A Mr. James Forbs answered and he advised that a bond of $7,500.00 would be required to secure the award of $750,000. He also stated that the bond money of $7,500.00 would be reimbursed along with the award payment. He further gave us a different Tel. Number of 415-363-0167, Extension 0805. He advised that a cashiers check for $7500.00 payable to a Brad Mullings (Bond Agent) at 302 2nd St. West, South Point, OH 45680 should be sent Federal Express Overnight Delivery. The check was mailed and received the next day, but Mullings could not cash it as it should have been made payable to Brad Mullins. Fortunately they returned the cashiers check and we redeposited it into our account and we closed our file. We did do much checking into this while waiting the return of the check and found out that this was a definitely a scam.

Got a call from a gal (said her name was Christy Martin) from the Comsumer Protection Bureau and that I had won 2nd place in Publishers Clearing House sweeps (which I had not entered) and she had a great long line of information. Gave me her phone number as 202-836-9786, a case file #, and a number to call at "First American Sweeps" 877-299-9512 to file a federal registration to get things started to get my money. So I called and then was told that I had to pay a 1% fee up front to the government to pay taxes That was when I told them I would have to call back and started my investigation by calling the government fraud dept at Consumers Affairs. Told (of course) it was a scam and they started their investigation with the information I had to give them. At least I was smart enough to not give them any financial information, SS#, etc.

I received a phone call from #202-******** and His name was Michael ****** Badge #3719, (if that was his real name), stated he was from Consumer Protection Bureau. He tried to convince me that my mom who is 92 years old won a Prize of $750.000 Dollars. I was skeptical because I just had a Scam from a man in New York who told me my mom won $17,5Million Dollars from PCH. I did my research on both of these companies and called the PCH people who stated they don't send information about you being a winner and they don't call and text, or email to let you know you have won a prize. They don't ask you for money either. Michael *****, told me all I would have to do is pay 1% Of the Federal Government Bond money $7,500 Dollars. The check would be coming from Reno Nevada, flying Jet Air and then a Courier would be delivering the package, which would consist of Documents from the Legal Dept. and the package would have to be signed for, with the $750.000 Dollars. I told him I don't have that kind of Money and he stated he would get the Federal Government to pay some of the $7,500.00 dollars if my mom qualified for it. This man just called me today 05/3/2022 and stated my mom qualified and he told me to call the First American Sweepstakes at #7758-964-5353 or # 877-299-9512. When I called them to further see how this worked a man answered and said I would have to talk to someone in the Consumer Protection Bureau. I went on the ScamPulse.com website to find out if this was a SCAMMMMM, after all and I already had my suspicion. I didn't send no money and If any one gets a call from these people know they are out there and they are trying to get you. NEVER SEND MONEY FOR A PRIZE!!! THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN WON. ??

I received a call from Victoria Hills. She informed me that I won 2nd place in a sweepstake and had won 750,000 dollars. Then she informed me that I had to cover a 1% fee on the money won. I wanted to hang the phone up just after that but she sounded so convincing. I let her keep talking and she (Victoria) gave me a claim # CPB2213 and the phone # for American Sweeps! Thats what she called this place. Phone # she gave was 1-877-283-1828 I never did call. lol

I received a call from Federal Government, officer and she gave number Consumer Protection with the Federal Government 202-836-9873 x 1010. She said her name was Sarah. Didn't notice an accent. She said we won a sweepstakes for $750,000 she gave her name with the federal government and that the bank is holding the money, but there is a federal bonding of 1% we would need to pay. The name of the bank that is to be holding the money National Bank and Trust in San Francisco 1-877-975-8147. The name of the Sweepstakes First American Sweepstakes with phone number 877-283-1828. $750,000 was the amount she was supposed to have won. Account # to get this money. FBR185986. The guy I spoke with from the bank was Tom Sawyer. They wanted me to go on the computer to ensure this wasn't a scam, and when they asked if I had access to a computer, I said yes, but I explained it was daughter's computer and couldn't and that ended that part of the conversation. They said the Federal Government requires a bond of 1% of the prize when they deliver the check $750,000, I would get the $7,500 back at the same time. He said can you afford to pay that much. I said yea I can get it if I need it and that kind of excited.
