I was looking for support for my MacKiev Family Tree Maker software and by mistake, went to the web site of the scammer, familytreesupport.com. During the support session, the scammer tried to sell me an upgrade to my MacKiev Family Tree Maker software for $371 and threatened that my current software would stop working in July 2025 if I didn't do the upgrade. I can't afford that and simply hung up - thank the Lord for keeping me safe! Otherwise I could have lost a lot of money. I was so upset, my son helped me find the correct MacKiev support website and through a Chat with a MacKiev support person, I found out that this is a scam and that an upgrade to the new software in July will only cost me $29.95.
