An individual on FB marketplace named Serenity claimed to be giving away a free harp on behalf of their sister, Joyce. After speaking with Joyce via email, I was informed that I would need to cover shipping costs and insurance to transport the instrument. Like the other cases detailing this scam, Joyce claimed the harp was her late husbands and that she wanted to give it away to someone for free. I was the connected to someone named Henry, who claimed to be the only person able to coordinate shipping the harp via a company called Secure Line. After submitting initial payment, Henry and Joyce kept adding additional costs and eventually stopped responding to my calls and emails after I requested a refund.
