Using a hacked user on Facebook under the name ***** ****, they advertised a car for sale for $2100. Thinking it was a friend of a closer friend, they asked for a deposit of $600 to hold the car! They scammed 2 others also out of $600. They said they couldn’t meet until tomorrow afternoon (May 8) at 2 to show and test drive car! I realized I had been scammed after a short time finding out David’s Facebook page has been hacked!

He sent an Apple Pay request for $600 from telephone number 213-659-9619

I listed my car on FB marketplace and this guy responded to buy it in cash. We made a deal exchanges online until we agreed to met. He tested the car and said he will buy it. This is where I got scammed, he is a slick talker where he said to take care of everything like car registration while counting the cash money. Me being 80 years is not fast enough to react and think and respond so I got swayed. I even forgot to take his ID took the car key and drove as quickly as he can. Now I have a problem because he has not registered the car until now after over a month. I tried to contact him but he is not responding and cut communication. I am stuck with car liability cause its still under my name. Now I cannot locate the buyer cause his Facebook is fake.

A Newmar class A RV advertised on Facebook Marketplace by Katheryn Cohen of NC, stating that she won the RV in a divorce, and stating that the vehicle is in a warehouse in Portland OR. The supposed owner of Zeru Trucking wanted a pic of my driving license, front and back, along with delivery address. I asked for pictures taken as " proof of life" with todays newspaper but they wont do it.
