I received an email for a job as a Project Manager for a business opening in my City. The job description was very detailed with reasonable requirements and they were offering a salary of $84,000 annually. I wen through the process of responding, filling out the survey and submitting my resume on their website and even going through a phone interview. I was then told I was selected as a candidate for the paid probation period of 30 days where I will be tested with case plans and participate webinars. The company asked that I sign an agreements stating I will participate in the probation period and I will be guaranteed and offer of employment if I pass probation with a grade of B+ or better, it was after completing the probation I would be compensated $2,000. After about a week and a half of spending 2+ hours a day completing the case plans and receiving A as a grade on all of them, I was asked if I would like to take on an addition assignment of assisting them in setting up the office they were working on opening in Charlotte NC because they were having a hard time finding someone to do so. They offered me an additional $1,000 for setting up the office. Once I agreed to help the next day they sent me instructions stating I will need to link my credit card to their corporate account. I was not comfortable with this idea for I know when you make purchases on behalf of a company they give you a corporate credit card or account to do so they don't ask for your personal info. I responded that I don't have an active credit card and I apologized for not being able to take on the additional task. Communication with my so called supervisor changed he was not raving about my grades as he did prior and then two days later the work stopped coming. I emailed him several times requesting the work and got no answer. Once he realized he could not defraud me for money he no longer had use for me. The website was elaborate and with the phone interview and contract I thought this company and job was official. I did have a huge red flag though I could not find any repeat any info on them when I googled their name. The phone numbers were phony and at one point the website and email crashed and they had to change it slightly. it went from elitex-es.com to elitexes.com. Please be aware of this scam
