I answered a call today 1/17/18 from 212.716.2684 and was told I would receive $4,500 in government grant money and how would I use it, Education, Business or Personal. He asked for my debit card number and that the funds would be deposited by tomorrow. I said I could not do that and to mail me a check since he had all of my information including my email. He began to give me the following information his name Brian Wayne, his direct line 202.945.4765, which was not the number he called me from, company name, physical address and website eFamily Network, 448 W. 11th Street Erie, PA 16501, www.grant.gov and his company id USSR3712. Strange right? I continued to say no and that I had no idea who he was as he had an accent that sounded as though he was calling from India or Pakistan. He then offered to let me speak to his supervisor. I told him that was not good enough. He said I could check them out on the BBB site. I did and there was no address for that company in PA but in Utah. They had an F rating and was not accredited by the BBB but had a few complaints of scamming people out of their bank account information and debiting funds not depositing funds. He never said I would be charged a fee of any kind but that I would not be required to pay the money back. I said it sounded too good to be true and said goodbye.

I will block that phone number and hope not to hear from them again from another phone line.

I would say never give out your banking information as they have access to all of your funds at that point and a recording of you giving them that information. If this was real they would have mailed a check as I requested. But no!
