scammers were able to replicate my daily chase bank checking account summary of activity email. When I tried to access my account using the "visit site" tab on the email I was unable to. My screen then said that I was going to receive a phone call to verify my account. they said fraudulent activity had occurred with my account. Someone tried to purchase bitcoin. They then had me turn over control of my laptop to them so that they could rectify the situation. They tried/ or did try to "updating my software". They then brought me to what looked like the dark web. When that didn't work they instructed me to withdraw 10g's from my bank and then to wait for further instructions. Even stupid me realized at this point that this was a scam and I hung up and went to my bank. They reassured me my account hadn't been compromised and I changed my user name and password. I took my laptop to have the malware removed
