After filing an application with the Department of Transportation (D.O.T) to obtain a USDOT number, we were contacted by James Kreider where it was our understanding from the calls, emails and text messages that he was a compliance officer with D.O.T. There was no correspondence between James or I that discussed his work with DOT Registrations Inc as a company or that it was a separate entity, entirely, than the Department of Transportation which was plainly taken advantage of as is apparent in our correspondence. I never signed a contract with DOT Registrations Inc for any services, we never contacted DOT Registrations Inc and I, at no point in time, looked for compliance facilitation for our D.O.T application submission. It’s explicitly clear in all our correspondences that we were under the impression that this was the Department of Transportation. James Kreider took full advantage of our misunderstanding and fully misrepresented himself to the fullest extent managing to fraudulently charge a total of $8,274.00 in fake D.O.T ‘processing’ fees and physical exams to obtain medical cards that our drivers do not need.
