I Googled Orbi support number, and this is the first number that came up. When I called, he asked for the serial number. He was able to tell me exactly when and where I purchased the product. Then, he asked if someone had been using my phone in Dallas. He asked if I had Facebook. He asked if I'd purchased a PlayStation off of Amazon. He said the reason my Orbi wasn't working is that someone was using my IP Address in Texas, and I needed to pay for Netgear's upgraded security protection. I realized it was a scam, and I hung up. I then received a scam email from the address asking me to click on a link. I immediately reported this incident to the ScamPulse.com and called the number back to inform them that I had reported it. Thankfully I didn't give them money, but I unfortunately did give them personal information before I realized it was a scam.
