KATE FROM DIRECT FUNDING

I get calls 2-3 times a day from Kate at Direct Funding. I never signed up for this and now whomever it is calling from different numbers. I have blocked the others but now they are using 813-310-1661.When you attempt the call the number back all you get is a voicemail saying leave a message by email. I have requested to be removed from the list more than once and it still calls me.

The caller leaves a message on my personal cell phone (3 so far) that she's Kate from Direct Funding calling to update me on business funding. She says she's calling from her cell phone and would like me to text my email address so she can send 'that over'. Sounds like a recording to me - each message sounded exactly the same. Different phone numbers each time.

Just got this exact same voicemail - no call shows in my call log but according to visual voicemail it came from 505-356-7155. She didn't ask for anyone just identifies as Kate from direct funding & did not leave a call back number, just said this is her cell & to text or call her with my email.

Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a phone call from a company calling themselves legal services. They claim I took out a pay day loan 10 years ago and never repaid. I’m not aware of ever doing that , and she says I should just pay to avoid court or possible jail. The amount is a little over 1400.00 and not sure what to do at this point. I know I didn’t do this, but representative seemed very convincing.
