On April 18 th 2016 , my step dad was on craigslist searching to buy a used car. He came across a seller that was selling a 2007 Nissan PathFinder Le, for $2.000. He called her but she didn't answer after that she texted him and asked him if he was interested in buying the car. He said yes and then she asked him to give her a an email address where she can send more information on the car. on that email address she included her name and a brief story on why she was selling the car cheap. [email protected] was the email in where they talked for that day. She told us that she was selling those cars because she wasn't able to keep them due to the fact that she was going on deploy to japan by the 28th. That same day she told us that she was going to send his information to eBay and that transaction was going to be made there. On april 19th he received and email from the eBay motors protection invoice. saying that seller diana was going to make the shipping there. They asked for gift cards because supposely it was a safe way and the process will be much faster. On that email it included a case ID#*** and the sellers address. On April 19th the money was sent . also on april 20th they send another email stating that shipping couldn't be made unless i send $2,000 more but that the money was going to be returned. After that i waited the weekend nothing happen i called the number that was given and there was no response. 1-866-629-7539. It just rang i tested Diana she never responded again. she was keeping in touch last time i heard from her was on april 20th.
