I was contacted by Design Vault via email about a job offer. I completed an email interview since this is a remote position but then when it was time to choose the equipment they said they would provide, they explained through text that it will be sent to my email and I am to mobile deposit it into my bank. They did get my signature and the banking institute I use so I proactively put a stop on my cards and requested all transaction be flagged for fraud. I chatted this out with ChatGPT and it helped me to decide this is not a true company. I also think they are still targeting me through another fake company.
