Reached out to Norton. Apparently switched to an external sight. They told me that they would install a 5 year plan for $250. I gave them access to my computer for almost an hour . Wife became suspicious as they had my credit card, at least the last 4 digits,plus they knew amount charged to my car for the renewal. I told the gentleman that I was concerned that was being scammed and wanted to verify through Norton.. He became irritated and I hung up and reached out to Norton. Told me I was scammed via phone number. I called back earlier and did not answer as Norton, that was suspicious. She said Norton 360 was installed as well as 2 possible phishing apps. She removed those and scanned my computer - said it is secure. I have cancelled credit cards and other potential breaches. Do not believe he got access to SSN. Numbers he gave me were 888-993-7009 and 888-917-7924 x 480 Supposed name was Jerry LaRussa, was not very well at speaking English. They all sounded Indian or some sort of dialect.
