Scammer emailed me through indeed job search site. All communication was done via TEAMS or email. Once I completed the interviewing process- all done via TEAMS and their website, I was offered the Patient Advocate position. I was emailed the onboarding documentation which requested my personal details including my bank account information for direct deposit and tax forms. They emailed me an electronic check for my office supplies (laptop, etc) wherein I was supposed to print the check and deposit it into my account via mobile banking app. I called my bank and was told it was a scam.
