I met a guy in September 2024 on the Tinder dating application. He was writing to me a lot and sounded serious. We continued conversations via WhatsApp regularly, sending each other pictures and established a relationship. He told me that his name is Emil Hoffman, he is originally from Switzerland, divorced, has many houses in different cities in the USA, and is trading spot gold. He was sending me screenshots from the trading platform showing his profits and proposed to teach me how to trade. We had video chat, and I was convinced that he is a real person. Emil showed me how to move money from my Coinbase account to the trading platform (DCM Markets) and I started trading with him. It went very well, and I was depositing more funds over time. Than Emil offered to send me 36,000.00 so I have bigger profits. I hesitated at the beginning but then I accepted his offer and trusted him completely. We continued to trade but it slowed down and he told me that this season is coming to an end. He pushed me to take a loan so I would have bigger profits and would make more money to buy a house. We had one more trade and than it stopped. Later, I’ve tried to withdraw a small amount from my account, but it got rejected with the message: “tax not paid yet”.
