Hi! I was contacted by David Thomas, 57, who lives in Massachusetts (he didn’t say where exactly) who wanted to transfer me money, particularly $5000.

He said to buy an Amazon gift card, and iTunes card (I contacted both of them and reported a fraud) since he had problems with Venmo and Pay and I put money on it, I put $100 on each card. I usually stay away from those kinds of things, but since I shop at amazon a lot, it wasn't such a big deal.

He said his company is called “David TD” and he’s an engineer. Right now he is currently in Turkey for a project.

His phone number is 413-648-4298.

I have reported him to Amazon, iTunes, other police departments because he didn't say exactly which city he lives in.

He first contacted me through IG and then we switched to Whats App because he said the messages are untraceable and he wanted to protect his reputation.

I have also reported to FBI!

Friended a man called David Thomas on facebook. After several days of chatting, he asked if there was a Walmart near me. I said yes, he asked if I could help him get a Walmart gift card. I said no, blocked him on Facebook and am reporting this potential scam.

Someone called my grandmother who I use as a emergency contact pretending to be me saying I had been in an accident and need $1,700 wired to me today! Also my credit card was fraudulently used at a publix in Orlando Florida yesterday I am located in California but I was in Orlando about 1.5-2 weeks ago I feel like the rental car company or the apartment complex that I signed my lease with has compromised my information the rental car company is the only place I used my credit card and emergency contact at at the apartment complex I only used my grandmother as an emergency contact I will be filing a police report tomorrow
