CSI Consulting Sweepstakes Letter

I received a letter dated November 14, 2023 that I had won $1,200,000 but that I was entitled to a partial advanced payment of $11,482.52. The letter also indicates I need to pay $8,800 immediately. It is signed by Jacky McDowell, Senior Accountant and Policy Advising Officer and indicates I should call Mr. Donald Balie immediately to "settle this issue".
I immediately suspected it was a scam before opening the envelope because there was no return address.

Please do not fall for this scam!

Fraud Alert! CSI Consulting, Inc Sweepstakes Scam Alert.

I received a letter today, May 26,2023, notifying me that I won a sweepstakes prize in the amount of $947,,000. The letter contains three different phones numbers to call them:
1. Frank Wilson: (236) 308-8117
(672) 999-8277, (438) 299-4331

The letter is signed by Michelle Oliver, President/CEO (CSI Consulting Sweepstakes Promotion, Inc.).

The letter states Mr. Wilson is a highly recommended legal and finial professional in recovering offshore and international funds.

They include a valid- looking check in the amount of $16,865.24 (check is signed by someone with the of name Winfrey and someone else and does not say non- negotiable)

The letter states your personal information is securely maintained in a secure data base.

The letter states all fees to be paid

In the middle section of letter is the following info:

In the middle of the check, is the following info:

I received a letter in the mail informing me that I had won a SUPERMARKET CUSTOMER SWEEDPSTAKES RAFFLE DRAW and that my prize was 880,000.00 and that they were enclosing a check for 8996.92 to cover the 7,796.00 processing fees i was instructed to call one of 3 numbers to verify my claim number which I never did i new right away it was a SCAM one because I hadn't entered any contests and two i know you don't have to pay money to collect money that you've supposedly won just wanted to warn others of this scam
