Through my ignorance and their deceit my wife and I are not down $1745 and the people clearly have now run off, no responses or anything even after I threatened to go to the police. And the scammers had me pay through Zelle so (I know now) my bank wouldn't be able to catch the scam and prevent the money from being sent, also Zelle has virtually no protection so my bank is most likely not going to be able to recover the money that was sent.

I was close to being scammed by this company via online. I had picked the Pug we wanted and I was almost ready to send the money but my gut kept telling me something wasn't right. Jason text that the pug would be delivered 8-12 hours after payment and I thought that was way too quick.
The next thing that caught my attention was Jason stated I needed to Apple Pay for the Pug prior to receiving the Pug but in a previous text he stated money would be exchanged at time of getting Pug delivered. Jason then wanted me to send his wife's number Apple Pay and not his that she was the manager of the business in California.
Then at times he was very passive in his messages which was another red flag.
The company's website has like four reviews which was questionable. Then if you google the address he gave to come get the Pug is not even legit.
I am so glad that after my research I landed on this website prior to getting scammed 800 dollars.
Thankfully we have friends and family in law enforcement that will be looking into this scam.

Crypto jays pug puppy home scammed our family. we were looking into a dog for our daughter who has special needs. she was born with spina bifida and hydrocephalus. our daughter has had some major surgeries through out her life and we has been depressed with the pain and the scares left in her body. we wanted to get her a pug because shes so in love with these types of dogs but we cant affored a 1000 dollar pug due to medical expenses and doctor visits plus medication so we looked on line. we spoke to jason he stated his name was. we saw pictures of the pug we spoke to the person on the phone and texted the person. we agreed on a pug and we sent over the money. after this jason person sent us a shipping information and it stated the pug was on his way. our daughter was so excited. but then we got an email stating our pug was on hole in a denver airport where they needed to change the cage for it due to it not being a good one to travel and wanted 550 dollars more for it. thats when we knew we had just got scammed. we did file a report and still waiting for the process but now our daughter is hurt and we are sad how there are people who do this for a living. we explained the situation to our daughter and told her we will continue to be by her side shes beautiful, smart and very loved. that we will get her a pug at the right time the right way.

My wife found a pug puppy online and fell in love. She filled out a form that looked very legit. The guy said he would fly the puppy out and deliver the puppy to my wife next day. This is where my wife should have realized this was a scam. The charge was 800 dollars via zelle. Luckily Navy Federal spotted the scam and stopped the payment. This is when she realized this was a scam. I looked up another scam on this website and found the same scam.
