Type of a scam Credit Cards
Received a letter in the mail from Freedom Plus/Cross River (who is located in 855 Teaneck Road Teaneck, NJ) thanking me for my application for credit and requesting additional information to make a decision on my application.
They advised me that there is currently a freeze on my credit report.
If I didn't have a freeze, would someone else benefit from the fraudulent credit application? They apparently had my address to send the letter. What other personal information did they have, SS#, etc.\?
I will not respond to this letter and give further information.
