Indian speaking individual calling from noisy call center asked if family member had opened a credit card ending in 8xxx in state of MI. Responded no. Individual confirmed that family member did not have card with those numbers. Then proceeded to state a card was opened in family member’s name and she would transfer me to her supervisor to close the account. Supervisor was also Indian in a noisy call center. I asked the him what company he works for and he immediately responded with Consumer Card Services. He then began asking questions about total balances on family members credit cards and asked what the family used the card ending in 8xxx for. I let him know that I was unwilling to provide any details since they called me. Both of us agreed to end the conversation.
