Someone named Anooshrivan Bozorgmehr filed 3 claims with Medicare for covid tests which I did not request and did not receive between March 31, 2023 and May 8, 2023. He used Biognomics Labs LLC as the name of his company. I have no idea how he got my name or my Medicare # to commit this fraud. Unfortunately Medicare paid him $94.08 for each of these fraudulent claims. I reported this to HHS-OIG and now I am telling you.

All of a sudden receiving Covid tests we did not order. I’m on Medicare and am sure this is a scam. It has happened two times from 2 different places. (Celltrion) is the name of the first ones we received, COVIGEN Medtox Lab on the second one. It says Do Not Return Government Program.

I know of another person dealing with this, but I bet there a bunch more. So aggravating how they take advantage of Medicare.

Walk up COVID-19 PCR & Rapid Testing unit on W 98th St outside of HomeGoods. The street often has walk-up COVID testing units. On March 18th, took the test and was told the COVID test would be free and covered by insurance. I then received two bills to my insurance, one for $100 which I was supposed to pay $61 of, and another for $750 that I was supposed to pay $500 of. For a COVID test that I could have easily done at home. There is no way in which a consumer should pay $560 for a COVID test and insurance pay $850. Clearly scamming insurance to make as much money as possible.
