For all those CORGI lover's, beware of a facebook group called " CORGI PUPPIES FOR REHOMING AND ADOPTION AND CARE".

Admin who goes by the name "christina finney" is a scammer who says they're located in Nanaimo, Canada. They'll start off by making it sound like their process is legit. Asking for a $500 deposit without even getting to see the puppy, and that she is only available on the day of pick up on sundays..and also the refund is 100% refundable and sends videos and pictures of the corgis..HAHA.. DO NOT fall for it. Started asking questions about their references and registration and she sends me a cropped picture of a "Bred with H.E.A.R.T. program" certificate with her name (in which is obviously photoshopped) and has NO watermark...(the real certificate has a watermark). This program only exists in the states with AKC. If she was legit, she would've been registered with the CKC since she stated she lives in "Nanaimo, Canada". Looked her up on the AKC and CKC website and she is non existent. After being thrown a bunch of question at her, she blocks me and deletes all her convo on fb with me. Please if you come across this group, please report and let everyone else Know.. there are about 4K+ followers in that group.

What the scammer said "

I’m the admin and breeder of the group and we always have lots of families who contact us through out the week in search of a puppy. So we came up with this procedure so as to make everything easier and sort out the serious families and have them booked for pickup on Sunday cause that’s the only free day I have through out the week, so we could actually talk with the families through.

So we could fill out the contract

We will also be needing a down payment of $500

Which is 100% refundable.

And the balance will be paid upon pickup

As soon as the payment is made

We will be moving forward with the the papers and change of the registration to your name and also the change of the puppy’s ownership papers to your name and the adoption procedure and contract which is gonna be forwarded to you via your email address so you can cross check if all your informations are correct.

And sign and get back to us

You will be needing a signed copy of this contract on pickup day to show as proof.

I had found this Corgi page to find a puppy. They wanted me to send $500 deposit to save my puppy through Western Union. Stupidly I did and found out the hard way, they don't actually have puppies and you'll never get dog. When you call them out they block you from page.

I searched for corgi puppies on Facebook. The title of ad was Corgi puppies for sale. Had pictures of multiple puppies. Says health certificate and kennel club registration papers come with puchase of puppy. $540 for puppy, shipping is $110. I text the number listed in ad. 682-302-1785 Wanted me to send $650 Money Gram or Western Union, asap. Told me to send them a picture of my receipt once I sent money. They said they don't get paid till the puppy is delivered to my front door. Said I have to send the money to the Director of the courier service, the name to send payment through Western Union/Money Gram was: NKUMBE HARRISON, NEW MEXICO, ALBUQUERQUE 87110. But the ad says they are located in Houston, Tx. I didn't send any money. I researched further and the phone # I was texting had several more ads on Facebook, German shepherd, French bulldog, Blue wheeler, and Maltese puppies for sale. All had pretty much the same ad. Different address on some, but all had same phone #. Also I asked if they had video of puppy, they said no.

I had ordered a puppy and the scammer asked for the $600 to start the process of getting my puppy shipped and delivered and then wanted and additional fee and asks and is constant about getting the money in a hurry and send pics of the stuff that supposably will come with the dog and then they will give a false shipping company which is nickserylogistics ,casper Wyoming that's false also then they will tell you to look at the shipping its on hold until another additional fee is paid for the delivery card. Thenif you catch on to them they will block you. I was scammed $1300 and they got all my information. So I had to lock down every account possible.
