As a job seeker, I received a email requesting to give me an assessment interview for a job offer. Thinking it was legit, I participated in the assessment interview process and received the job offer by email next day. The emails that poured in after that started asking for money so I could get my work from home setup. The emails were very long and stated the same message over and over using ambiguous language and stated repeatedly- we are here to help you succeed. It turned into a very strange scenario really quick.
