Offer of employment by Consolidated Communications

I received a text msg this morning at 6:09 a.m, MST, asking if the msg they text is Jody McCray? I asked who was texting and the text came back to me that said "Patricia Derrick" from "Consolidated Communications recruitment team" reviewed my resume and wanted my Skype I.D. to proceed with an online interview in the healthcare realm with several positions offered. I asked where their location was in the U.S. and they never responded! They offered me $29 an hr hour for training and the pay thereafter training would be $40 per hour. I have the screenshots and now I am worried because my identity has recently been stolen online and my bank account has overdrawn into the hundreds that still has not been replaced fully! What do I do now? I've been a victim of Identity theft so many times! I am so scared and worried again. I've had to change my bank more than 4 times and my other accounts. Why would anyone be so evil and cruel to those who are senior citizens or make an honest living such as myself? I am so upset and now I have to probably request another bank card after speaking with my bank again from a week ago! Will someone contact me regarding this scam and what to do, please? There are a total of 7 screenshots of communication from this scammed contact via text messages to me. I hope they all go through. I've already sent 2 submissions. The first 1 wouldn't submit, it showed an error, and the second submission I believe I sent 3 or 4 screenshots. I apologize, I am so upset right now.

Offering employment through text message

Hello, my name is Andrew Carlos from Consolidated Communication Company. Your posted resume has been reviewed and you are qualified for an interview for a Data Entry/ Asst Position. The working hours are flexible, the pay is $25 per hour. He wanted me to reply by text message "YES I AM" if interested. After doing my research on this company and found out they are scammers behind this company name.

Roberto Woodhams

Received unsolicited text for a job offer wanting to get me 'set up' with their HR Manager. I inquired the name of the person texting me and asked for the company website. They were able to provide a legit website but I can find no information on Roberto Woodhams and this is a phone, internet, streaming, and security company. The list of jobs offered included medical coding and medical billing which would not be at this type of company. Also they offered $35 an hour. One of the openings was for Customer Services and sales and per my research this company starts you at a little under $10 an hour. Then they tried to rush me to install google hangouts, skype, or zoom to do the interview now. It is 10pm EST. The phone number comes back as a human in Arkansas not associated with this company. I can also find no digital footprint for anyone by the name of Roberto Woodhams on LinkedIn or Facebook or through a Google search in connection to this company. Writing this one off as a scam

I got the same message from someone name Manuel, I have an interview tomorrow 11/7 at noon. Now that I've read this review, I know now this is a scam, I have a trick for them!

I am currently being offered a job position for Consolidated Communications From a person claiming He is the hiring manager there. His name supposably is Joseph ******. I was contacted about my resume on Faceboo Messangerby somone telling me to go to Tellegram App to proceed with an Interview with this Joseph ******. I did and did the interview and answered all the Questions. Which took a while for this interview. I was asked when I could start work and he supposably went to see if my Interview got approved by the heads of office maybe. Then he applied I had been Hired. And said to Be online at Telegram with him *am saturday mornig. 5/15/21. to get assignments, tasks, or updates. I could not start that fast and on a Saturday none the less. He proceeded to tell me that I would be given a check or money to buy the programs to put on the laptop the company would provide. I was to buy the programs from some vendor to install and take $150.00 for hiring bonus. This vendor would put the necessaary programs on it for me to start taraining. This morning He asked first thing for my Bank account information to direct deposit the money. The hiring process was to easy and starting work the next day when I had told him I coukldn't start till Monday. Tipped me off and Having to pay for the programs after i get the laptop. Why not just send me the Laptop with them already on it? Not right. And no proof or company proof of who he says he is or that I'd been hired. I'm still talking to him but, will not give him any information. Tallking on Telegram Messsaging and his name is Joseph ****** supposably. From Consolidated Communications. Is it a Scam? I think so. Can You help? Thank you. This has happened before to me. It was a job trying to use fake checks to do the same thing pay for vendor to put programs on laptop for a job. If somone could let me know something that would be highly appreciated. From AS 5/17/2021
