My mother clicked on her free cell app and the computer went crazy and made a horrible sound the message came up to call 844-919-1039 and dial extension 413 and ask for Mike Dawson. She got an invoice #C9D6DB3906 and was charged $349 to make the noise stop

My computer froze and connected pro's website appeared. They told me they were a company run by windows defender, and I paid $499. They said the hacker was going to buy child porn in my name, and they scared me with a fear of the threat of prison time, Like an [censored] I bought into it trying to stop the scam. I have all receipts. Lost $8,000.

computer shut down thought i was calling microsfost did not know any different until norton notified this as a scam call called credit card and canceled payment of 119.00 they were charging to fix computer.. called back next day and wanted to acess computer again but i told him i was through with thrm and this was all a scam and had been reported

IT agent serviced my computer 1/3/23, sold me firewall products at $199.90, stated would call in a month to follow up. He also gave me false number of 1-844-919-1039 as the "only" one to call for support. I started receiving calls from agents stating they rec'd virus error messages. I let agent into computer on 3/14/23, was told the software not compatible and we already had a firewall, product not needed and they would give me partial refund of $150.00. Was transferred to another agent for refund, was told full refund of $200.00 but agent "accidently" setup $2000.00, then was told the company bank acct frozen due to too large a refund and could not be corrected electronically. I ended up giving them $1800.00 in bitcoin and the $2000.00 deposit disappeared from my account. In calling the actual service number of 1-888-485-8078 I today was given run around by agent and requested a supervisor. Sup Jamie set up refund of $199.90, took names and phone numbers of agents who called me. I did not get confirmation that the account was closed and refund being processed. Called back and got run around from George459. I hung up and called again, Mason confirmed account closed and refund setup. I believe that either some of the agents at this company are scammers or possibly the whole company is a scam, I would not trust any of their agents to be honest.

Computer locked advising of trojan virus via microsoft and to call a toll-free number for technical assistance. I believed to be microsoft and offered information requested despite usual hesitancy to offer requested information. Spoke with Larry B. in technical support who offered information on what they could and would do to assist me. Then connected me to 'supervisor' Daniel S. who explained cost and how they would assist me over the next year at a charge of $350 for software, to clean virus and for tech support throughout the year. I ignorantly allowed remote access which was not removed until credit card cleared payment. My bank suspended credit card for suspicious activity and would not allow payment until following day. Following multiple phone calls and 3 hours with "tech support" on my computer; they finally freed my computer for personal use. Payment has not been made as yet but charge is in place.
