The scammer kept trying to ask me about my ConEdison bill stating that they were a third party. I assumed they worked hand in hand with ConEdison so when they told me to pull out my ConEdison bill and read off some of the information on it, I did. Then they were asking specific questions such as how much im paying for certain things. She even asked me the address to my business which I found suspicious. I asked several times if they were one of those cold call centers, to where the female replied that she works for a company that works for ConEdison, which Ive never heard of. She said that if I didn't give her the information that her company would keep calling me. I told her that would be considered harassment & then proceeded to tell her that I didn't want to talk to her anymore and she started yelling at me. I hung up and tried to call back to see if someone else would pick up (thinking I would get someone else) and she picked up again. I told her I want to speak to her manager or supervisor and she said "I don't need to talk to you" and then hung up on me. I wholeheartedly believe that she is a scammer and she may just be a one woman operation. Please help me and others by stopping her. If I didn't catch on she would have definitely took my money.
