I registered the claim to withdraw money from an annuity we purchased 15 years ago. They made us send them wire instruction, copy of IDs, and fillout a ridiculous form to confirm that we didn't violate any of the terms and conditions, included but not limited to name change, marital status change, employment change, legal proceeding etc... The intentions of why those questions are asked the way they are, when all I am doing is redeeming an annuity that IS mine was baffling. But after a few correspondences back and forth with the agent, I believe I got my answer. I like transparency and that is why I asked the question I asked about if Lloyd intention was not to pay the annuity. Therefore, I asked the agent a question and she found that bizzare. My question was, "Is it the intention from Lloydshare not to payout the annuity?"
She explained to me her role "is simply to gather all relevant evidence linked to our eligibility criteria, to put any questions arising from the case history, and to discuss with clients any concerns that impede my recommending pay-out". She doesn't make the final decision. Despite everything that Lloydshare had sent me in the past were nothing but lies (none of the addresses on their document is legitimate.
Based on the Terms and Conditions, the way the form is being set up, and my recent researches, I personally believe I was scammed and I do not believe Lloydshare has any intention of paying out. I have wronged many times in my life, including buying the Deferred Annuity from Lloydshare 15 years ago, but I do not believe this is one of them. World Trade Center Panama confirmed they do not have the occupancy of a company name Lloydshare Ltd., Inc.

I also looked up the address 1012 W Beverly Blvd, Montebello, CA 90640, that address was on the booklet and on the envelop that was sent to me 15 years ago turned out to be an address that belongs to an UPS Store who’s been there for 30 Years.
The purpose of this complaint is to warn other consumers from getting scammed. BE WARN and STAY AWAY!
