I received what I thought was a legitimate message rom Coinbase that my account was accessed from someone in Canada. And they said I need to move my coins to a safer wallet. They directed me to go through steps to move to a wallet. It sounded legitimate. I foolishly followed. After the content was moved to the wallet, as they had access to the wallet, they initiated the transfer from the wallet to somewhere else and I lost my coins. I lost in total $36,000.

The scammer pretended to be customer service from coinbase. I hung up on him immediately. Then I called coinbase up they said they don't use that phone number out of Texas. It was definitely a scam.
