The email told me I owed $520.14 for renewing McAfee. It indicated they were the Geek Squad. They ask permission to uninstall McAfee off my computer. I was asked after 45 minutes to $160.00 to get a refund. They were able to change the amount to $1600.00. He told me I needed to get a gift card to give the $1600.00. When I refused. He locked down my computer and told me if I give them $1000.00 to get unlocked. I told him I was reporting them to BBB. My grandson unlocked my computer.
