My 16 year old niece inquired about an African Grey Parrot. I was told the price would be $750.00 for the parrot $160.00 for shipping and another $100.00 for the cage. They asked could she zelle or cash app she told them zelle. Sent the payment they sent a bill of sale to her and told her they would keep her updated about the shipment. Then some company start emailing named Transatlantic pettravel saying to pay $1,300 for insurance and there is a 99% refundable. The money will be refunded back to you upon delivery of your parrot. She told the man “ with the parrot” she did not have any more money he told her he’ll pay and just send money back to him once the parrot arrives. He then called back and said he came up with $750.00 and she’ll be left to pay remaining balance of $550.00. She told the man again she doesn’t have anymore money he told my 16yr old niece do you know anything about insurance you have to pay and if you do not and something happened to the parrot you are going down for it. I allowed her to use my card this was a birthday gift for her a honor roll student.
