I work in an Assisted Living Facility and I happened to hear one of my clients talking about not having a checking account and that someone else pays her bills. I took the phone and asked who he was and he stated that he was from the ScamPulse.com and he had a check from Publisher's Clearing House and that they need authorization in order to have the check presented. He asked me if I could come and authorize the check and told him know. When he asked what her address was it was totally wrong and I didn't give him any information about her due to HIPAA. I then hung up and told her that it was a scam phone call. Amount they wanted was unknown to writer.
