I reached out to the seller to get more information. They said the puppy would be $700 and I needed to put a $200 deposit down to hold the puppy until we could travel to pick him up in 1 week. The breeder said they would email me the paperwork once the deposit was sent and confirmed receipt. After sending the funds via Zelle, the seller stopped responding and I never received the promised paperwork. I kept reaching out to the breeder and finally they replied 7 hours later saying her husband would send the paperwork as soon as he was home. The following morning I still had not received anything. I messaged them again stating I would report this as fraud. The breeder replied she was still waiting on her husband. I decided to proceed with reporting the fraud on any forum I could. I will contact my bank to see if they can recover the funds I sent and punish the person that took my money.
