My husband received a call from Ted Davis with Choice Recovery Group last Thursday. He said he would call my husband's HR department, and they would garnish his wages and send the police. He asked for $3000 for a payday loan which we hadn't paid back. We've never taken out a payday loan.

Choice recovery group called me and stated I owed a debt from a company back in 2012, and I owed almost 3, 000. They stated they would settle for 977. I actually paid the amount off thinking it was the actual debt collection agency.But after further researched found out the company was a scam and did not have my debt. They threatened me with jail time, being sued, and were very aggressive. After letting them know I have actually spoke with the debt collection agency that has my account that called me back and stated that they would refund my money, because they didn't want any issues. Please beware they are a scam company Choice Recovery Group. They are actually a company called INTEL ADVANTAGE

A woman who said her name was Rebecca stated that her company was a mediator company hired by layers to sue me because I owed $776.00 from Advance America pay day loan company. She said if I would pay $500 today it would take care of it. She had a lot of personal information on me such as old addresses and where I used to work. I need to know if this is a scam or not because I did get cash advances before but thought I had pays them. If I realy do owe this money I want to pay it but I tried looking them up on BBB and nothing comes up on the bbb look up but when I looked up their name on the scam look up, 3 scams came up under their name. Please help me find out if this is a scam or if I realy do owe this money. Thank you!

Caller stated that I owed a payday from 2007, they were collecting on it on. advised that if I didn't pay I would have to go to court, and would be sued. Company has no website, nor would provide me with their mailing address.
