The call came in identified as Chase on the ID. They asked if I had opened a bank account that morning. When I said no, they said that someone had - "Jessica White" and that she also attempted to withdraw or transfer 2 transactions ($2000 and $3000) from Zelle and that they would switch me to Zelle fraud. They gave me case #s. They asked if i knew Jessica White, If I had lost any personal information, if I had been to California. Realizing it was a scam I told them that I was at work and asked to call them back and they told me that I couldn't, and that if I got off the line the transactions would go thru and not be cancelled. I hung up.

Brad Hunter from JPM Chase claimed that a "Karen Miller" attempted to open an account in Buffalo NY and was attempting to Zelle $2000 & $3000 to them selves from a bogus account with my name. He gave me a case # and then some voided code #'s that equaled to dollar mounts. when i refused he kept telling me that my account was in jeporday of losing money. I then hung up.

I didn't give them info and hung up. He said that he was from JP Morgan and needed my account info because someone was trying to open an account.

Guy called stating 2000.00 was on a Chase account via Zelle and that there was another Zelle pending charge and that the account was hacked. Wanted verification of credit card information, verifying personal information and was told to email the information and would call them back to verify after he verified it was Chase he proceeded to use profanity and hung up. There were no pending charges and the card was locked.

I got a call from someone who said they were from Chase that 2 zelle transactions were being sent from my account and then insisted I send zelle money to an unrecognizable number in order to cancel the transaction. They said to send money to the "Case number" ********** which when I input it on my phone was someone name Jean.

Got a call from a very unprofessional sounding man who claimed to be fraud protection at Chase. Nit my bank. He said two transactions of 2000.00 and 3000.00 were made with my Zelle account. He gave me transaction numbers and put me on hold twice locating someone to give those numbers to in order to cancel the payments.in the interim I checked my bank account, there were no such transactions and I hung up. They then proceeded to call me back two more times..I googled the phone number and it’s listed as chase bank so I’m more than a little confused.

We have recently received several calls to one cell phone with called ID showing Chase Bank and number 212-481-0612. The last scammer called stating that one of our accounts was compromised. When confronted by my husband, the scammer proceeded to threaten to find us and physically harm us. We contacted the local authorities, filed a police report as well as Chase Bank to report the incident and phone number used by scammer.

The caller claimed to represent JP Morgan Chase and said that a checking account was opened in a different state using my phone number. The caller then said that Zelle charges were made using my phone number.

I got two calls from 888-373-1969. First call was on 8/04/25 reporting it was Chase Fraud Prevention department, and they needed to verify my credit card application and give the reference number 250803542275. They told me to call back at 888-204-8630. The second call was on 8/05/25 saying it was from Chase Services and to call back at 888-204-8630 and give the reference number 250803542275. In my experience, if a bank detects fraud from a non-customer they reject the transaction.
