Claimed to be a boutique store in Charleston, SC. Dress arrived and was VERY poor quality. Inquired about a refund. They have been running me through the paces on why they can't refund me but can give me a "credit". Of course I used my VISA and now it is compromised.

Charleston boutique promotes itself as a US based store. The item ordered was a dress and the item received was not the same as advertised. It is extremely poor quality, a different color and a different style.

The business states that I must pay for return shipping for an item that I did not order and that I must pay fees to ship to China ranging from $50-$125. The website promotes a 30 day money back guarantee. The customer service agent has responded three times with proposed discounts to keep the item. Charleston Boutique uses fraudulent marketing, a bait and switch order fulfillment process, and bad business practices to refund money. Their mailing envelope has a US address. It took 2.5 weeks to receive the item. Buyer beware. I am still waiting to see if we can resolve the issue. Highly unlikely.

I saw an ad on Instagram for a lovely dress on sale from the Charleston Boutique in South Carolina (no such place). I checked that they offered a 30 day money back guarantee. I purchased the dress for $54.95 with Paypal. When I received the dress, it looked nothing like the photo and was made with inferior quality. I contacted them about a return and was told that it would cost me $127.00 in return shipping. Instead, they offered to let me keep the dress and get 10% cash back. This is not acceptable. I want my $54.95 back, but moreover I want to report this company for fraudulent practices.

I worked with them, but they refused to pay me my one-month salary. They are fraudsters please report them to the FTC. They are not Americans; they are Dutch con artists!

Store presented as US based local boutique in Charleston, South Carolina with online sales. When I ordered realized item was shipping from China and complained immediately. Was assured it was all ok. Received item and it is crap quality knock off of item in sore ad/video. Made cheaply, wrong color, sizing off. Asked for immediate refund and was told that because international shipping would cost more to refund than I spent on dress. So I’m out money and have no recourse to return. Want to warn others so will not be similarly scammed.

Charleston Boutique stated they were a retail clothes company located in South Carolina and posted beautiful dresses for purchase. I purchased a dress that came from China that looked nothing like the dress portrayed, nor in the fabric described. The site promised easy returns, satisfaction guaranteed, and after much back and forth, I was given a fake China address to return the item. An alternative refund was 10% value of purchase and I could keep the dress.
