Change Healthcare Reports & Reviews (8)

I was sent a text message asking me if was interested in a remote data entry position. Mentioned that they found my resume on indeed. Told me to use Telegram Messenger to have the interview. I downloaded the app and I was asked questions by the person I was told to add to start the interview. It was about an hour long sending me five questions at a time and giving me 10 minutes for the 3 sets of five questions. I’m expected to send him a message at 8 AM ESt tomorrow. So I decided to look up how CHANGE HEALTHCARE have their interviews and found this site.
CHANGE HEALTHCARE FRAUD

I got a text from 8312647852 telling me I was sought out on indeed to apply for a data entry job threw change healthcare. I responded to the text And was asked to download the signal app to have a text interview. I was to lookup the phone number 7473444731 to speak with the “Hiring manager” of the company. I downloaded the app and found the number and messaged them about the job position. (I knew this was a scam right away, but I was curious how far they would take it) they asked me the typical interview questions, then asked what bank I went threw and was super pushy about my information. I didn’t give them any, I even lied about what bank I had just so they wouldn’t look further into it. They then asked if I could be trusted to be sent an emailed check, to purchase office equipment from their provided vendor. I said I already had my own office and didn’t need any, they ignored my message, and asked what my email was, and what my home address was to be sent this check. I said that it was extremely unsafe and fake to be sent a check via email or mail, and asked why would they need me to purchase office equipment if I already had it, and why would it be from their specific vendor. They quit replying after that, and told them I knew they were a scam from the beginning, I just wanted to see how far they would go, and told them they would be reported for fraud, and impersonating a company. Then said some kind words to them just for funzies. ?

I received a text from Evelyn Pierce about an interview over the Signal Messaging App with hiring manager Monica Potts. After I got the job offer, they sent over a check for me to buy really expensive office equipment from a "verified vendor." I hadn't filled out any paperwork or spoken to a real person during this whole time.
FAKE CHECK SCAM

I was contacted via text by someone claiming to be from Change Healthcare through Indeed. I have a resume on there for a remote data entry position, which is what they were offering. I assumed they got my phone number from Indeed. I "interviewed" via Signal Messenger, as instructed, to someone calling herself Monica Potts. She gave me the standard interview questions, as well as history of Change Healthcare (which appear to be legitimate details about the company they are impersonating.) A time was set to meet for 8 a.m. the next day, for another "meeting." For this meeting, I was told I got the job, and that they would be sending me a check to purchase equipment for work from home. Alarm bells started ringing, but the actual company exists, so I didn't think too much of it (they also link to a website that uses the same logo as the legitimate company, which is listed on NASDAQ.) Things got dicey from there. I was "emailed" a check for $2,350, ostensibly for in-home office equipment. I was instructed to print it out (there were two photos of front and back) and send Monica a screen shot of the deposit confirmation (which I did, as there was no account information visible.) I thought perhaps they were testing me to see if I could be trusted with confidential information, and assumed the check wasn't real. Here things got more dicey. I was asked to install Zelle and transfer $500 to a Deligha Squaer (doesn't sound made up at all) Shockingly, the transfer did not go through. After a brief hour on hold with my bank, I was informed the check was indeed fake, as well as the company being a scam. I am reporting them for impersonating an actual business, as well as trying to scam my funds.

Thank you so much for posting this! The same exact thing is happening to me from the same people!

Offered a job through legit company Change Healthcare, but all communications was through Skype. It seemed so real, the interview questions, I was sent employment letters. They have my ss#, my address, a copy of my license, my tax info! Wanted me to send a $500 apple gift card for office software! I’ve contacted the police, and I’ve taken the steps to check my credit!

Work from home scam. They send you a fraudulent check to buy office equipment from their vendor. Name of bank fake logo on check. FedEx sent from a home address in Brooklyn NY. Only communicate in google hangout and sms text. Beanboozled him into calling me. Number known scan number.

Person contacted me claiming to work for a company saying my Resume was approved for employment. It was something I had not solicited. It was an st home position that was being offered with high pay. Person gave legitimate answers to questions like company name and website. Sounded too good. I was assured it was legit. Company was legit and no complaints on bbb. "Hired" me. Said I would get employment offer next morning and I would be forwarded funds to set up office. Next morning I received offer. Was informed check was sent previous day FedEx and I was to deposit immediately and send copy of deposit slip. I called company and they didn't know her name. She brushed it off by oh i work from home. I asked why she had a gmail instead of a company email. Again work at home position. I called bank suspicious of the check. The bank did say it was fraudulent. I am now working g with the banks fraud department. I have forwarded all correspondence to them.
