Lane has defrauded numerous people of their money under the guise of a business-person selling bicycle racks. His Instagram page, @cetmacargo, is riddled with people complaining that they have not received their ordered, and paid for, products. These complaints are from people whose orders are older than a year. I myself am a victim of Lane’s. For me, he had a pre-order set up on his website, in which she advertised that his product would be received by the end of April. That has not happened, as of well into May. I reached out to other people who have been complaining on his Instagram, 15 in total, and none of them have expressed that Lane, despite his public statements to them, has made good and fulfilled their orders or refunded them their money. You should have no faith that you will actually receive his product if you place an order with him.

I am currently in the dispute process with him via PayPal. Others have not been so fortunate as to dispute him within the available timeline of disputes w/PayPal or their credit card, and some have been so unfortunate to have ordered full sized cargo bikes, which cost many thousands of dollars, and have not received them. I am reporting this as a “scam quote, rather than a delivery issue, because it is so widespread. I have seen people complaining of issues similar to mine on Reddit, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. At this point, it is beyond a simple slow business process, and is more-so a direct and conscious defrauding of people of their money.
