I received a message saying someone had charged 400 dollars on my Tic Toc account and asked me if that charge was from me. I say no. They called me and managed to get me to give my password and login as a protective measure for me for my bank account. They insisted they could put a lock on my bank account, and so I complied. I kept telling them I didn't want to give my login and password to them, but they insisted it was encrypted and they couldn't see my information, claiming it was for my protection. They said it was necessary to submit my information to put a lock on my account. So I did. After hanging up, I decided to call my bank, and they informed me that I had been scammed. They would have to create new accounts for me and had disabled my existing account so that no one could gain access to my accounts. Thank God for my back because all my money, social security, and everything is in those accounts. I was so foolish to let them talk me into divulging my information.
