Calling that I owe money for a listing I requested. That the listing is for 2 yrs and expiry date is coming up . I have an amount t owing of 600.00 or around that much. Will call from a different company name at times . But the voice sounds familiar.

Canada Business Pages reached out and contacted us as if they were renewing information in a directory. Contacted the company owner and then myself, indicating our company owner had simply asked me to provide information. They explained they do marketing and are changing the marketing to be focused on digital listings, etc. and online postings and SEO and send a CD. Under the impression they were updating existing information we approved them sending the invoice and information, but there was in fact no updates as we did not originally agree to use them for marketing. Their product is just a thrown together FaceBook Page, they are unprofessional and it is not aligned with any of our marketing strategies. They then began to harass us for money after sending a CD and an invoice we were told by our tech person not to put in our computer. We were very clear with them that we do not want their services and do not give them permission to post our information on their Facebook page or anywhere. In addition, we reached out to other people who had their information posted, and they also said that this company harassed them for money and so they just paid. The information they post is NOT our photos or information we provided. In addition, when you look at their FaceBook page and compare the information they post to the companies' actual websites, they are not using information collected from the company themselves. For example, they would post a blurb about a flooring company and a stock photo when the company has good quality photos of their work online. If they in fact were a legitimate company they would go through the process of collecting information from the companies. It seems as though they just post something so they can justify providing a service and manipulate small business owners into paying. They continue to call and are very aggressive and manipulative and threaten bad credit, etc. Most recently, they called to say they were from another company just trying to solve the problem and could offer a reduced rate. We were clear: we do not want their service. They play back the audio of us confirming that they could send the invoice, but leave out the beginning where they make it seems as though this is a renewal.
