They scam you out of your money and you end up homeless. A fake attorney will tell you that court is continued, and when you don't show up you are evicted. The phone number stops working, and no one calls you back. I have found many other victims online going back years. This is the first site that shows up online too, when you search for eviction assistance. A FB page with links to all of the victims complaints online I was able to find has been made at https://www.facebook.com/shutdownCEDS/

This is a group of people posing as an attorney's office, promising representation to tenants facing eviction, and they vanish as soon as they get your money. They will tell you that you have longer than you do, lie to you about court dates, and then you are evicted when you don't show up. There are many families who they have done this to. Attorney goes by Chris Jensen out of Santa Monica. Other attorney is Matt Bury and person answering phone is Veronica. Chase act is ***.
