On February 1, 2020 I tried to cancel an order I had given to Amazon.com. I went on the internet to get a contact phone for Amazon and was 9obvious now) a bogus phone number. I dialed the number and got a (phony) representative who said he could not cancel my order and that there was suspicious activity on my account.... someone had gotten my on line ID and was attempting to use it to purchase a $2000 TV. They they then said they could recommend a technology company that could recover my ID and fix any damage to my computer programs that were most likely contaminated. The representatine then got Buzzing Technologies on the phone with me and took all my pertinent information, proposed how they could fix (fixation) the problem, how long it would take and how much it would cost. I gave them the go ahead and for the next two hours I was to remain inactive on my computer while they (supposedly) solved my problem. At the end of the fixation (2 hours) they asked me to write a check made out to Buzzing Technologies for $715.00 and scan it into my computer, which I did. A couple days later I started to get supicious about what had taken placed so I went online to research Buzzing Technologies and (not to my surprised) found them to be scam artists. I called my bank and put a Stop on the check I wrote, changed my computer sign in passwords and wrote this complaint for the BBB. Fast forward to today, February 8, 2020 I received an email from Buzzing Technologies which reads:"This side Andy from Buzzing Technology INC, I called you up for the

regular follow-up looking forward to know how it's been going so far the

work which was done by our technician on the computer

and how your devices are performing, but as I have not received any

response on the call from your end, this is why I'm writing this email.

I just wanted to drop you a quick note also to remind you that your

payment of $715.00 which was submitted as an Electronic check is still

in process and due to debit from your account.

I will be informing Andy that I have no intention of continuing on with this charade and will not release my check.
